I love mixing and matching different styles and putting them all into one outfit. This way I can wear everything I love and still be comfortable and fashionable! I love my Jeffrey Campbell booties so whenever I have a chance to wear them I don’t hesitate! The leather hippie purse is one of my favorite pieces that I got in Aspen, CO at a store called The Gypsy Woman. The artist, Chester Goss, runs this little shop in town in Aspen out of a little one story home. Its antique style and old character make it the perfect little gallery/shop to display his handmade leather bags. These things are amazing and every one is unique- this store has become my weakness when visiting. These bags are pieces are art, embellished with advance beadwork, fringe, and “lucky feathers”. These feathers are found by Chester on his weekend hikes through Aspen trails. I have been crafting with some jewelry lately (CimarronJewelry) and I think finding some leather to try and make a bag myself could be a fun project. The fun part of creating your own accessories is that you always have a piece that reflects your style. With extra time in the summer I would encourage everyone to find a fun hobby and create something that you truly enjoy!
