I had recently read an article that focused on the use of beer as the central ingredient in cocktails. I was intrigued since I love beer but sometimes crave a bit of a sweet taste. This recipe combines the flavors of a light lager and fresh fruit juices to create the best summer drink. It’s so light and refreshing I was shocked… this is my new go-to drink for sure! This recipe serves 2!

Ingredients
-1 bottle Modelo Especial or Corona Light (12 oz.)
-1/3 cup mango puree
-2 Tbs lime juice (freshly squeezed)
-1.5 oz. Tripel Sec

Directions
Ahead of time chill 2 beer glasses in the freezer. Use a lime juicer to fully juice a few fresh limes into a small bowl. Take one 7 oz. fruit cup of Del Monte mango chunks and drain half the liquid in the container. Blend the rest of the mango chunks and remaining liquid from the fruit cup to make the mango puree. In a 2 cup measuring cup combine 1/3 cup mango puree, 2 Tbs lime juice, and 1 oz. of Triple Sec and stir with a spoon. Top with your choice of light Mexican beer and stir until everything is mixed well. Fill both glasses with ice and pour drink mixture evenly into both. Enjoy!
